(National Pharmacy Week)

National Pharmacy Week was celebrated on 22nd – 23rd Nov. 2023. The theme was “PHARMACY STRENGTHENING HEALTH SYSTEM”. College students participated in various activities organized by the cultural committee of Radiant Institute of Pharmaceutical Science. The activities were PPT Presentation, Slogan Competition, Quiz Competition, Rangoli Competition, Poster Presentation and Tree plantation which were held in college campus in the presence of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Subarna Ganguli, Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam (Vice Principal), Mr. Perwez Alam (HOD) and all faculty members. The Honorable Chairman, Dr. Mesbahuddin AlBukhari appreciated student’s participation by giving a message. Activity Coordinators were Mrs. Kriti Joshi, Mr. Mrityunjay Singh, Mr. Omair Alam, Mr. Anzar Hussain, Miss. Fiza and Mr. Surajit Jana .Vote of thanks was given by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Subarna Ganguli.

The Annual Sports Event 2023 at Radiant Institute of Pharmaceutical Science was an incredible celebration of athleticism and unity. It brought together students from to participate, compete and in the joy of sports. The event was a testament to teamwork, dedication, and the spirit of friendly rivalry, leaving lasting impressions and cherished moments for all who joined in. All the sports activities were conducted in the presence of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Subarna Ganguli, Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam (Vice Principal), Mr. Perwez Alam (HOD) and all faculty members. The Honorable Chairman, Dr. Mesbahuddin Al-Bukhari appreciated student’s participation by giving a message. Activity Coordinators were Mr. Mrityunjay Singh, Mr. Omeir Alam, Mr. Samsair, Mr. Faiyaz, Mr. Nazrul, Mrs. Kriti Joshi, Miss. Fiza, Mrs. Romana and Mr.Guddu Sharma.

On World leprosy day, a Quiz competition programme was organized in institute. The College students participated in quiz and awareness activities. The quiz competition, was held in seminar hall in the presence of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Subarna Ganguli and faculty members. Among 8 teams the winner team was Team A whose participants were the following students:

Celebration of National Pharmacy education Day on 6th March 2024:

National Pharmacy education Day is celebrated on 6th March every year in order to celebrate the birth anniversary of Late Prof. M.L. Schroff. He is Father of the modern Pharmacy education in India. The program schedule included various events performed by students. The speakers invited in this programme were Dr.Iqbal Hussain,Mr.Sanjay Paswan(DI),Dr.Md.Jamaluddin,Mr.Ranjit Kumar(Addln. Drug Controller), Mr.Raj Kumar Ranjan ( DI),Dr.Tanseel Ahmed,Dr.Md,Monazim,Dr.Md.manzer Alam. The event concluded with the interactive session between students , and all guest speakers. Vote of thanks was given by HOD, Prof.Perwaiz Alam.

International Nurses Day on 12th May 2024

Fatma Nagar, Salki, Tengarmari, Kishanganj, Belwa Kasipur, Bihar- 855107. The theme in this year is “The economic power of care”. Our respected Chairman Dr. Mesbahuddin Al Bukhari, Director Dr. Abdullah Al Adil , Principal, Vice Principal, and HOD of Radiant Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences were present along with all teaching as well as nonteaching staffs. The chief guest of this occasion were Dr.Md.Manajim (DPM, Kishanganj), Dr. Alamgir Shekh,Dr.Iqbal Hussain,Dr. Barkatulla, Dr.Najir, Mr. Imam Ali Cintu, Moulana Giyashuddin Madani, Moulana Saheb Jan Bukhari. This day was the 204th birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale.

Daily life of Nurse: Participant’s name: Fiza Anwar, Sapna Kumari, Champa Kumari, Bharti Kumari, Divya Kumari, Arifa Anjum, Sweeti Kumari,Soni Kumari,Sweta Kumari,Shagufta Fatima. The programme ended with a vote of thanks by HOD from Pharmacy department.

Topic of the webinar,"Growing scope of Pharmacy in India"

A webinar was organized for the students of Radiant institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kishanganj, Bihar. The topic of the webinar was”Growing scope of Pharmacy in India.” The webinar was conducted on 25th May,Saturday) from 2:00pm onwards.The speaker of the webinar was Dr.Ruchi Verma, Associate Professor, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences,Manipal,Karnataka. Students participated enthusiastically in this event which was followed by the interactive session between students and the speaker.

Celebration of Independence Day on 15th August 2024 was done with flag hoisting by Sceretary cum CEO,and other staffs of Radiant Group of Institutions. This was followed by singing of the national anthem. Few glimpses of the programme are shared herewith.

Orientation programme for 1st year students of Radiant Group of Institutions.

Orientation programme for 1st year students of Radiant Group of Institutions was organized on 16th of August 2024 at seminar hall. Students and parents participated in the event. PPT presentation on college, and syllabus were shared by Prof.P.Alam, and Mr.S.Rahman. All 1st year students participated in cake cutting ceremony. Faculty members of pharmacy and nursing dept. were present. Students interacted with faculty members to know about about the scope of the courses. World pharmacist day was organized in college on 25thSeptember 2024,in which local people were given information about medicine and important role of Pharmacist in health care. The theme of this year’s World Pharmacist Day was, “Pharmacist’s meeting global health needs”. Principal , and faculty members gave speech on the theme. This was followed by speech given by some students. There was a quiz competition on the role of Pharmacists in health care system.

Webinar on Quality Assurance

A webinar was conducted on 26th October 2024(Saturday) via Google-meet. The webinar was on Quality Assurance, and its importance in Pharma industry. The speaker was Ms. Ruchira Das, faculty member of Sanaka Education Trust group of institutions, Durgapur, West Bengal. The speaker has vast experience in the field of Quality Assurance of pharmaceuticals. She delivered the lecture on the topic of industrial importance which was followed by question answer session. All students participated in the webinar.

Start –Up Awareness Programme

A Startup Awareness Programme was recently organized in our college campus by Startup cell Govt. Engineering college Kishanganj, focusing on promoting entrepreneurship and innovation among students. Conducted under the Bihar Startup Policy, the event aimed to inspire young minds to explore entrepreneurial ventures and contribute to the startup ecosystem. The programme also highlighted the government’s initiatives to support startups, including financial assistance and mentorship. It motivated students to think beyond traditional careers and become job creators, fostering a spirit of innovation and self-reliance. The RIPS faculty members, Staffs and students were present during the event.
